Preambule – Establishment of the Association
The Association that holds the name ‘Cittaslow – Rete Internazionale delle città del buon vivere’, shortened to ‘Cittaslow’, was an initiative of the Italian cities Bra, Greve in Chianti, Orvieto, Positano and the Slow Food Association. The development of Cittaslow was never intended to be completed in any specific time period. Use of the trademark is regulated.
The Association took on its own trademark, an image of an orange snail wearing a crown depicting modern and historical buildings (Appendix C of the Statutes). The words ‘Cittaslow Rete Internazionale delle citt città del buon vivere’ form an integral part of the trademark.
